New Feature: Archive Completed Items

Keep Your Lists Clean with Archive Functionality

Today we're launching a new feature that will help you keep your lists clean and organized: Archive Completed Items!

The Problem

As your todo lists grow over time, completed items can clutter your view. While it's satisfying to see all those completed tasks, they can make it harder to focus on what still needs to be done.

The Solution: Archive Completed Items

With our new archive functionality, you can now:

  1. Archive all completed items with a single click
  2. View your archived items any time you need to reference them
  3. Restore items from the archive if needed

How to Use the Archive Feature

Archiving Items

Look for the Archive Completed button at the top of your list. This will move all completed items to the archive, keeping your active list focused on outstanding tasks.

Viewing Archived Items

Once you've archived items, you'll see a View Archived link showing the count of archived items. Click this to see all your archived items, sorted by when they were archived.

Restoring Items

In the archive view, each item has a Restore button that will move it back to your active list if you need to reference it or reuse it.

Benefits of Archiving

  • Cleaner lists: Focus on what needs to be done
  • Better performance: Lists with fewer items load faster
  • History preservation: Keep a record of completed work without the clutter
  • Easy restoration: Quickly bring items back when needed

Coming Soon

We're planning to expand the archive functionality based on your feedback. Some ideas we're considering:

  • Batch restore options
  • Archive by date range
  • Export archived items
  • Archive search and filtering

Try out the new archive feature today and let us know what you think!

Happy organizing!
