A single page with every open task across every list, grouped by list. Tick things off, edit them, and set due dates right there — no hopping between lists to see what's actually outstanding. Find it in the sidebar under Dashboard.
Tasks now have a notes field for the detail that doesn't fit in the title — links, context, next steps. Click any task to open it and type into Notes. Tasks that have notes show a small document icon in the list.
Search results are now real task rows grouped by list, not a read-only summary. Complete a task, edit it, or add notes straight from the results — search, do the work, search again, without ever leaving the page. Matches are still highlighted.
Lists with hundreds of items were slow because every task rendered at once. Lists now load 250 items at a time with page links at the bottom, and your sort, tab, and due-date filters carry across pages. Dragging to reorder works exactly as before.
Every list now has a scratch pad. Click Notes on the list page and a plain-text panel slides in from the right, full height, autosaving as you type — for the context, links, and half-formed ideas that aren't tasks. Notes come along when you duplicate a list.
Opt in to a shareable profile at freetodolist.com/@yourhandle showing your streak, completion counts, and 90-day activity heatmap. No list names or task content is ever shown.
A practical guide to the no-signup, no-login flow — including how sharing works without registration and what you trade away (almost nothing) versus keep (almost everything).
Click any task to open a panel where you can edit the body, set the due date, mark complete, change tabs, queue a move to the top or bottom, or delete — all in one place. Move-to-top / move-to-bottom inline shortcuts still work for quick gestures.
